General FAQ

Q: Should I Be Concerned About My Plants And Landscaping?

A: Short answer: Yes.

Roof cleaning always carries an inherent risk to your landscaping and plant life.  We cannot guarantee that some of your landscaping will not be affected by the cleaning process (and you should seriously question any roof cleaning contractor who does make such a guarantee).

What we do guarantee is that we will take every precaution possible to protect your landscaping and plant life.  We also guarantee that if something negative does happen after your cleaning service, we will be there for you to help you get it rectified.

In order to mitigate as much risk as possible, we use a variety of strategies to protect landscaping and plant life:

  • Collection and/or diversion of runoff.
  • Dilution of over-spray and runoff before, during and after the job.
  • We apply Plant Wash which is a neutralizing agent to soil and plant life where necessary.
  • Coverage of delicate plant life with breathable tarps.

These precautions protect your plants as much as possible.  In the event that you do notice any issues after service, such as wilting or browning leaves, wilting flowers, etc., please give us a call.  We promise to take care of you!

Roof Washing FAQs

General roof washing service does not get rid of all moss and lichen instantly. Due to our process of cleaning your roof in the safest manner possible we let the wind and the rain take the left-over dead moss away and rinse away the rest of the lichen. In most cases our process includes a 5-Year Spot-Free warranty for your roof.

General house washing and concrete cleaning service does not include removal of the following (these items may be removable at an additional charge; please speak with your Service Consultant for more details):

  • Glue, caulk, or other adhesive residue
  • Paint overspray, splatters, drips, or brush marks
  • Mortar, concrete, or other hard debris
  • Non-organic staining and discoloration such as rust, efflorescence, calcium deposits, irrigation runoff, fertilizer stains, etc.
  • Failing, faded or peeling sealers or other coatings
  • Oxidization

Gutter Cleaning FAQ and Terms of Service

Q: What can I expect on the day of my gutter cleaning?

A: General gutter cleaning service does not include the offsite removal of gutter debris. We will bag the debris up and leave it where you tell us! Please also be advised that our standard gutter cleaning includes cleaning downspouts to ground level. It DOES NOT include cleaning underground drains (this can be added to your services for an additional price; please call for details).

Q: Do I Need To Do To Be Home For My Gutter Cleaning Service?

A: No, you don’t!  We are happy to perform the work and process your payment after it’s completed.  We’ll email you a receipt and the photos of your clean gutters, usually within just a couple of minutes of the job being completed.  How convenient!

Q: Tell Me About Your Gutter Cleaning Guarantee.

A: Baker SoftWash offers the best gutter cleaning promise – the 14-Day No Clog Guarantee.  If your gutters develop a new problem within two weeks of service, just give us a call.  We’ll return promptly to address the issue, and at no cost to you!
